They're tiny, they're stinky, and they're probably coming soon to your neighborhood. About 8 years ago, the brown marmorated stink bug was first spotted near Allentown, Pennsylvania. Now the Asian import has been found in states from Virginia to Oregon -- and with no natural predators in the US, the spread is predicted to continue. It has become an agricultural pest in the mid-Atlantic states, although the bugs have made themselves known to homeowners as well. The insects try to invade buildings as the weather turns cooler, sometimes leading to sizable infestations in homes. We'll talk about the bugs, and their prospects in the US.
